Rape and sexual assault
If you have been raped or sexually assaulted it can be very important to talk to someone straight away. If possible, talk to a friend or relative and contact the British High Commission. If the office is closed please call the duty officer and we will try to give you the help you need.
Alternatively you may like to call Supportline 179, a Maltese government sponsored service. This is a 24-hour telephone helpline run by a team of professionally trained volunteers. It provides immediate confidential support to callers of any age who require assistance in both day-to-day and crisis situations.
